Join me in boycotting the Film "ZOOKEEPER !
PETA is asking its members and supporters to boycott the new Kevin James film,
Zookeeper, which will be released on July 6. The film features a number of captive wild animals, including an elephant, a lion, a monkey, and a giraffe, among many other species. PETA finds the use of all wild animals in film and television objectionable, but this movie is even more egregious because of the controversial death of a giraffe during the production of the film and the use of an elephant named Tai, who was provided by the company Have Trunk Will Travel (HTWT). In May, Animal Defenders International released undercover video footage that shows trainers at HTWT as they abuse Tai and other elephants with bullhooks and electric prods.
Sadly, many wild animals used for entertainment suffer greatly at the hands of their trainers. The animals are deprived of everything that is natural and important to them, such as adequate space, appropriate companionship, and proper exercise. Click here to read about the abusive training exercises that these animals endure on a regular basis.
Please share this information with your friends, family members, and coworkers, and ask them to join you in boycotting Zookeeper.
Thank you for everything that you do to help animals.
